Having a specific set of T&Cs for your subscription service is important. It outlines the key aspects of your service, such as payment terms, non-refundable fees, restrictions on use, delivery and termination of subscriptions. This helps make sure both you and your customers understand the service and what happens if something goes wrong.

Our fixed-fee packages for Subscription Terms & Conditions (Offline) start at $900 + GST. This includes a set of T&Cs drafted to your specific requirements, consultations with our expert lawyers, and one complimentary amendment to the final draft we provide.

Your legal consultant will then send you an email with more information about the services you need, along with a fixed-fee quote setting out the costs, scope of the service, and timing. If you're happy with the scope, you can accept and sign our engagement letter online.

Once you've formally accepted, we'll connect you with a specialist lawyer who will work with you to complete your project. They will contact you by email or phone if needed.

We support clients across New Zealand through our online-first model. Because we work remotely by phone, email and video call, you can use Sprintlaw from anywhere in New Zealand. Where relevant, we can also support businesses operating across Australia, the UK and other Sprintlaw markets.

Our legal team is made up of experienced lawyers who specialise in different areas of law and hold an Australian legal practising certificate. None of our Sprintlaw lawyers are New Zealand-qualified lawyers, and they do not currently hold a New Zealand practising certificate.

They provide legal services remotely from Australia through our 'legal consultancy' model. Under section 6 and section 35 of the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006, our Australian legal team are permitted to provide legal services to New Zealand businesses, provided they do not provide services in certain 'reserved' areas of law.

Given the strong similarities between Australian and New Zealand law, and the areas in which we practise, being small business and startup law, we do not view the fact that our lawyers have not qualified in New Zealand as having any substantive impact on the quality of our service.
