A Privacy Incident Response Plan is a document that sets out what happens in the event of a data breach, where information is lost, or where there is unauthorised access to or disclosure of information. It includes contact details for the appropriate staff, outlines staff roles and responsibilities, and documents processes to assist the Privacy Commissioner to respond to the breach.
