• 1 x complimentary amendment to the final draft we provide, as long as you request the amendment within 10 business days of us delivering the final draft

No. In New Zealand, Sprintlaw NZ Limited is a legal consultancy. It is not a law firm and is not regulated by the New Zealand Law Society. Your work is done by our Australian-qualified lawyers, who are not admitted in New Zealand.

We don't act in court or tribunal matters, conveyancing (including leases and business sales) or other reserved areas of work. Communications with Sprintlaw are unlikely to be protected by legal professional privilege. We still keep everything confidential under our engagement letter.

Often, yes. Website terms and software licence agreements may not properly cover how third parties can access, use and integrate with your API. An API Agreement can deal with issues that are specific to API access, such as usage limits, access credentials, technical restrictions, intellectual property, data handling, service changes, suspension rights and liability allocation between the parties.

If you are offering API access as part of a broader software product, the agreement should usually be drafted so it works alongside your other legal documents rather than duplicating or conflicting with them.
