Includes:
INITIAL CONSULTATION

REGISTRATION WITH ORIC

WHAT’S IT FOR?

If you are looking to set up an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organisation, you can apply to be registered with ORIC. By doing so, your organisation will have its own legal identity, ability to sign agreements, ability to limit liabilities for members etc. Our lawyers can help you formally register with ORIC and sort out requirements such as a rule book or any exemptions.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We will assist in registering an Indigenous Corporation in accordance with your requirements.

This package includes:

  • Initial consultation with a Sprintlaw lawyer to discuss your eligibility to be an Indigenous Corporation and any applicable exemptions
  • Drafting a Rule Book for your organisation
  • Registration of 1 Indigenous Corporation with ORIC

Please note: Whilst we can draft your documents to maximise your chances, we cannot guarantee that you will attain the relevant status as this will depend upon the assessment by the ORIC. Depending on the outcome of your consultation and which incorporation type is suitable for your new business, we will advise you of the applicable registration costs. We can process the application for you if you pay the additional registration costs when they are known.

Please also note this package does not include any industry-specific, regulatory or tax advice.
