WHAT’S IT FOR?

If you looking to extend your lease term, you’ll be required to negotiate and sign an Extension of Lease. An Extension of Lease creates binding legal obligations between you and the landlord that may last for many years. As a tenant, it is important that you have an expert lawyer review your Extension of Lease to ensure you understand exactly what you’re committing to.

This package includes:

• High level review of the Extension of Lease and disclosure document by a Sprintlaw lawyer
• A list of the key suggested amendments for your Extension of Lease
• A walkthrough of the review findings and any key suggested amendments by a Sprintlaw lawyer, either via the phone or video call (up to 60 minutes) or in a video recording

Please note that this package does not include:

• Re-drafting or marking-up the document. If re-drafting or marking-up is required, we will provide a new quote.
• Assistance with registration of the extension of lease, or tax advice.
• Any direct negotiations or correspondence with the counter-party or their lawyers, or reviewing any responses from the counter-party or their lawyers to the list of requested changes. If you need further negotiation support or additional rounds of review, we will provide a new quote.
• Any employment, tax, accounting or other compliance issues.
