WHAT’S IT FOR?
If you want to protect the design of your product, you should register your design with IP New Zealand. Registration gives you an exclusive right to commercially use, license or sell the design for 5 years. Once your design is registered, you then have the opportunity to get your design certified.

We’ll add an additional design to your Registered Design application to IP New Zealand.
